My printer is connected, and the queue indicates the job has been printed multiple times. It displays the job on the printer screen, and chimes as if it's complete - but nothing actually happens.
HP 5740 Won't print, though the job is listed as complete
HP Deskjet 3050 not connecting wirelessly anymore
I recently got a new Xfinity router and had to change my wifi name/password. Ever since, my printer has not been able to connect.
I've tried the "push WPS" option dozens of times. I once got an Error Code 0xb39ff01c but every other time it timed out or said it couldn't connect. The "PIN" option doesn't apply to my router, at least not that I know of. I've tried removing the printer from my Devices and installing it again. I've also tried turning it off and on again. Still doesn't help the connection issue.

HP Photosmart 5520 prints black, indicates there is black ink, but does not print black
So this is interesting....
I recently took my HP Photosmart out of the closet, and replaced all the ink cartridges and started it up.
All functions work, except printing black ink.
What's amusing is that it will print a "Quality Diagnostic" in what appears to be black ink, but then not print black ink in the box.
I'm interested in finding out if this is a problem:
- With the print head? And in fact it does not print black?
- With the software or firmware? Where it just thinks it can't print black?
Perhaps the black ink I see is not from the black ink cartridge, but is from the combined color cartridges instead.
If in fact the black has stopped functioning, is this a result of a bad print head? When I do a diagnostic I get no black ink within the black ink box (which is delineated in black ink)
I've tried restarting, cleaning the heads, aligning the printer (which errors out), resetting, checking that it is at the latest firmware, etc. No dice.
I am located in France, but using genuine HP cartridges I bought in the US.
Also, incidently:
- I've already been down the road of trying to change my printer to the EMA zone so that I could buy ink here. It ended up being a very disappointing experience.
- Also, the HP software errors out on my Mavericks Mac, so I installed the sw on my Windows 10 machine.
I appreciate any help from the forum ... I'm not really expecting much from HP, but I am hoping perhaps that the company can retain me as a customer. If they can't help, then I'll probably never buy another HP product.
Thanks,
Printing Envelop Error
Hello,
I have been attempting to print a standard mailing envelop for the last hour; however, I continue to receive a "paper mismatch" error message each time. Once I hit the "x" it forces the print job to cancel.
Here's the steps I am using to print: I added the envelop to the tray it required me to change the paper size. I selected the following options, Envelop #10 and Envelop A2, but none of these options result in successful printing. The printer's sensor is indicating my mailing envelop as a different size. I am using Microsoft Word to create the envelop. I even attempted to adjust th envelop size option there, but I am still unable to print. Does anyone know the paper size option to choose for printing a standard mailing envelop? Is there a certain size setting in Word to use?
I run a small business and I am attempting to mail out statements. I would prefer to print the address information as opposed to writing it. If anyone is able to assist with getting my printer to print envelops I would greatly appreciate it.
I just purchased and opened the printer last night. I hope it is not defected. Please help.

HP6978 Excel Print Skips Grid Lines
I have a new HP6978BC6.
When printing an Excel 2013 spreadsheet, vertical grid lines are occasionally skipped. If I switch to my HP Officejet 6700, the sheet prints normally.
I downloaded the HP Install Assistant and ran it, letting it find both printers. It tells me that there are no updates available for either printer. I assume this means that the drivers are up to date for both.
I power cycled my laptop (Lenovo Yoga 14), but the problem remains.
Any thoughts would be appreciaed.
Printing preprinted church bulletins
I am trying to print our weekly church bulletins on preprinted paper. The printer picks up 3 or 4 sheets at a time and messes up the bulletins. It happens every time I try to print on the bulletin paper. It works fine on blank paper. I am printing on both sides. Never had an issue with my Officejet 8600 Plus. I have been in contact with HP and they are sending me a new printer. Will the new printer have the same problem? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks for your response.
DeskJet 1512
This DeskJet 1512 printer ate up all my paper and two brand new #61 ink cartridges trying to calibrate itself. I followed the HP support video exactly. I want HP to send me a stack of printer paper, one black ink cartridge and one color ink cartridge - free of charge. It's the least HP could do after providing this absolutely worthless printer. It should not take this much paper OR deplete two brand new ink cartridges to calibrate itself. How ridiculous.
can't print to photosmart printer
Both the photosmart 5520 and Samsung tablet connect to the wifi network, but Samsug tablet can't find the printer. I am able to print to this wireless printer with both my desktop and laptop.

My Photosmart 6510 won't print black ink
I have the Photosmart 6510 printer. The color ink cartridges work fine, but all of a sudden my black ink stop printing. I have cleaned the print heads, aligned the printer, I even bought a new black ink cartridge thinking maybe I got a faulty one. The black ink still won't print. I also read on another thread about follwing the "Printer Prints a Blank Page or Does Not Print Black or Color Ink document", which I did and still a no go. I have always bought HP printer ink as well.
I reside in the United States, and the printer is no longer under warranty. Any help on fixing this ASAP would be much appreciciated. I run a design business and having a printer unable to print black does not work well for me. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
NikkiW
Print previewing, real-time progress and other 'properties'/GUI issues
The upfront need/issue is:
I require 1) a good print previewing window before I begin a print run (like the one Canon offers) and 2) I need a running, real-time progress window and current page/#ofpages printed, so I can see where i am in a run (Canon also provides this); 3) a way to cancel a run/document without having to click an icon, then click a 'printing' button on the HP window, then rt. click the dialong window and cancel the printing. Takes far too long and wastes lots of paper in the process.
other solutions: I saw one forum page that offered a way to install an alternative driver for another HP printer that would provide print previewing without loss of function. Several people asked about other models as well, but the 8710 wasn't among them. I just got this printer and am about to return it for this reason alone. It's 'properties' control functionality is far too amaturish and limited to give much control over our printing. Canon's dialogs aren't even the best, but they are far superior to HP's, and do not have the above problems. If you can offer a solution/alternate driver etc. that does not reduce other functionality (autoduplexing, scaling, etc., etc.) then I may reconsider.
General Comment: Obviously this is a concern for many users, and is a very weak point in HP's design. But our ability to control and monitor our print runs is of first importance. HP really needs to provide us with a driver/GUI that is much better then the clunker they seem to have thrown together as an afterthought. Someone needs to tell HP they need to do much better, and at least provide us with an alternative driver/properties control that gives us better information and more control over various aspects of printing. Thank you.

How do I reset the print to original factory condition?
HP7510 printer offline
Hi There,
My HP7510 printer has gone offline. I have used it for a couple of years and it has been fine. I have used Windows 10 with it for over 10 months. This week it has gone offline and I can't get it to come back online. I've done the turn it off, turn off modem and leave for 3 mins then turned it back on. I've restarted each of the computers that print to it. Using the remote I can get it to scan to my computer but it still won't print. I've looked on the forums here and most of the links to help come up with a 404 error.
Help please - what can I try next?
Thanks,
F2120 Scanner not working
Hi,
I am having HP Deskjet F2120 All-in-one Printer SCanner Copier. I was able to scan and print earlier without any problems. But for the past few days I am not able to scan. See that as soon I switch on the printer toner led glows ON.
While I was searching for reasons got to know that it is because catridge is empty. Also I see on internet few threads indicating that scan would not work if toner is empty. Is it true? Is it the reason why I am not able to Scan as well?
Looking forward for the support. Thank you.

Really REALLY slow printing
I have an OfficeJet Pro 8620 connected to my network wirelessly. The problem that I'm having is with one computer, my Dell laptop. All of my computers in the rest of the house print to the printer and it prints super fast and gets all the printouts from them done at normal speed. With this laptop though, when I go to print something it takes forever. When I say forever, I mean forever. I have witnessed it take over 1 min to do half page. It will print out a bit, then sit and wait, then print a little more, sit and wait. I thought with the printer spooler those days of waiting like this were over. I have never seen something take so extremely long to print. Is there anyone out there that may have some ideas as to what to try to see if I can get this to print faster? This is a Dell Inspiron 5555 with 4GB RAM and an AMD A10 processor running Windows 10 64 bit. If there are any ideas out there or tricks that can be used, I would greatly appreciate any assistance.
