Does anyone know if this "offline" error can be fixed or do I need to buy a new printer?
I am ready to smash my HP printer on my cement driveway and never purchase an HP product again! Angry beyond words and I will not pay for stupid support when this is clearly a software or firmware error.
I have an issue of my Officejet 6600 showing a message of "Printer Failure", "There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, thgen on. If problem persists, contact HP" Power off, power on does not solve it. Very low volume printing history, replaced all inks... still getting error message. Can anyone offer any solutions? Thanks.
I had bought HP Deskjet Ink Advantage Printer last year and used it till date. Suddenly, today, I could print any document from my laptop. My HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 1515 could connect and print any documents. I tried scanning a document it works when try to print again, Microsoft Excel Professional Plus shows printer could not connect. Please help me solve this problem
After converting to Windows 10 I'm notified of the Windows update below. All attempts to install the update fail. I've run HP Print and Scan Doctor, uninstalled all printer software and installed the latest Envy 5660 software. I still receive the notification and have no luck installing.

I recently moved. Prior to the move, I could print and scan from Windows 7 64bit to the 8610. All features worked fine. After the move, the same computer and the same printer will not print. I can use a laptop with Windows 8 to print with full features. I can also scan an image from the scanner to the Windows 7 computer. But it will not print. I would like to use wireless, but I have also tried with ethernet and with usb. I have done a complete removal of all HP software and products, then a safe mode reboot, a regular reboot, then a fresh install. I have tried adding the printer first through Windows Add a Printer, and I have tried adding the printer just using the HP install software. I know that it worked before, but not now, and I can not figure out why.

i am having problems getting the 5740 to connect with the Aspire 5250. I have tried connecting to the router via the printer screen and it times out. Suggestions?

I had a HP Officejet pro 8600 for a few years when one day i got error messages stating that the printhead appears to be missing, and that the cartridges are faulty. So i went and bought new cartridges, and installed them on the Officejet Pro 8600. The message kept appearing, and only later on we found out that it is the printhead thats faulty.
Because of the high price on the printhead itself, i decided to buy a new printer HP Officejet Pro 8610. But now my "brand new" cartridges thats never been used, yet been installed in the faulty printer. doesnt seem to work, because of the HP Protect on the cartridges.
Is there a way that i can use these cartridges that have already been protected in the 8600 in my 8610?
Hello, i have the error code 0xc8190014 HW_MCASIC_HEAL I've reinstalled drivers, the printer just wont be recognised and no doctor was able to help it.

We currently have 9 machines connected up to a HP Officejet 7610 series; the printing has never been an issue windows 7 or 10. However the scanning feature on the product has always been flimsy. This is the second one we've had after a physical fault with the first one and the same issue reoccurs. All 9 machines at some point lose scanning functions to the scanner stating that the scanner is currently unavailable. Many things temporarily fix it such as reinstalling the HP software, HP Scan and Print Doctor and sometimesd pulling the printer out from it's mains while still on and draining the battery and turning it back on.
However none of these are fixes just workarounds. We would like a permanent solution to the problem. IF any of you have any idea how to resolve it or have any suggestions please let me know. (This happened on windows 7 and after we upgraded to windows 10).
I have a 5330 envy printer that I use wirelessly, about a month ago when I try to print from my IPad or IPhone I get the message no air printers found. I have never had this problem, any suggestions
The printer is new and replaces one that worked perfectly
with the new printer I can send color pictures by email but as soon as i try to print them they turn B&W on screen and hence will not print in color

how can I print a photo without the white edges? When I put the 4x6 photo in a 4x6 frame the white border shows.
I am doing a mail merge from Windows 2007 which is working great. I change the font color on the screen and everything looks great. However when i print it always prints black. Our envelopes are Navy so black does not show up well. I have printed on a plain letter in a font color and that worked. I have also tried open office to print a font color on an envelope and it also was black. That leads me to believe that something is happening at the printer level since it happened from two different programs. I am using a custom paper size of 5.x7. Any help would be appreciated.
My HP Z2100 wont print from my mac 10.6.8. it the mac does know that the printer is there because when I try to print the mac shows a message that a ink cartrige is low. I set up the software through an ethernet connection and installed the driver. When I try to print, it says "Can not connect to printer will try again in 30 seconds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
