officejet 6830 3rd replacement - want a refund
I purchased an Officejet 6830 from Costco 18 months ago. I am now on my third printer -- all as the result of a printhead error. HP now automatically replaces the printers when this error message appears. Instead of waiting for replacements I would like a refund so I can obtain a reliable printer. Has anyone obtained a refund?
Question to HP, what is the process to obtain a refund instead of a replacement with the same flawed printer?

Haven't used printer for awhile. Replaced all cartridges. It will not print anything.
The printer has not been used for awhile. Replaced all ink cartridges with new HP cartridges. It will not print. Have run clean printhead, align, etc. NOTHING. Well, it printed a little magenta - definately no black. Have tried every trick I could find. HELP.

Photo prints are damaged because they land face down onto the tray.
Photo prints are damaged because they land face down onto the tray at a pretty good velocity.
This there anyway around this? Or is there some nice soft material that Inkjet ink doesn't stick to? Kinda silly, since we selected this over a Laser for suppossedly better photos. We are using high quality photo paper in the number one tray.

Printer in error state
Just purchased an HP 15 Laptop and downloaded and installed the latest printer driver for my HP 6500A printer. I was able to print successfully but am getting Printer in error state message not only for this one, but for my wife's lsptop as well. I have tried resetting several time to no avail...

Printer won't stop printing
I was printing off from a file and the printer keep on going. It would not let me cancel and then it even started printing the same pages over and over. I have turned it off and back on, turned my computer and router off and back on. The dang thing is possessed. This is a fairly new wireless printer and it had been working fine.

instant ink
been trying to find live chat or a phone number for instant ink on website but seems to have disappearded. Having problem with printer not always printing on card and sending blank pages through. Despite what I've read it is counting these. yesterday account went up another 6 pages for a birthday card, 2 pages printed and 4 blanks. Had same problem Monday printing labels on card and now I'm being charged extra for going over my limit.

Power Supply
My HP printer has lost power supply.
Th adapter does indicate a green light when I plug it into the wall socket. However no power seems to flow through to the the printer.
Could you please assist?

Inkjet Sensor failure
Have recently been unable to print with my 8600. It will receive a print job, but fails to print with the error. Printer may be out of ink. Digging deeper, the Yellow print cartridge yields the message, "ink sensor error." The Supply Level showed that there is ink in the cartridge. That was verified by removing and shaking the cartridge.
Troubleshooting...
1. Have done the standard power cycle with the system unplugged for a minute. No joy.
2. Removed all the cartridges and cleaned the contacts to the cartridges in the print head. No joy.
3. Deleted the printer driver and all other HP software on my Mac, downloaded latest and reinstalled. No joy.
4. Bought a HP 951 OEM yellow cartridge for $24 (ouch!) and replaced. No joy.
5. Attempted to update the printer firmware, but was unable as the printer "is in fault."
Does anyone else have any ideas? Can I call HP for help....or at least get reimbursed for the HP 951 cartridge that I think I just wasted.
I'm thinking that this is a failed hardware sensor and there's not much that can be done....except buy non HP next time. Have only bought HP for the last 25 years, but this printer might be turning me. The screen has also failed "white" and can't be read. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HP 7525 Wireless Issues - Switched from WEP to WPA2
Hello All - I just upgraded my wireless security from WEP to WPA2, and I cannot print to it.
I stepped through the Wireless setup on the 7525 and the configuration seems to have worked.
I printed the Wireless Network Test Results and all is well, no errors on the printout.
I can print using the USB cable.
I'm not sure that it is material but I also started using OpenDNS, and made that change at the same time. I wouldn't think that would make a difference but I'm mentioning it just in case.
Unfortunately I can't print wirelessly, I received the 'Can't communicate' error message.
Any help?

Photosmart B109
Text printing out of Word is blurred after a few good lines. Lines are intermittently OK or completely blurred. No clear pattern.
Printing Excel or pdf goes OK, smaller documents.
Cleaned printer twice, also twice extensive cleaning, from the HP software.
Also cleaned with a cloth the cartridge and the bay it sits in.
Testpage prints beautifully, however when printing a full page from word the blurred lines as described above continue.
Colours print OK. Problem is black only. Cartridge is well filled, also seen from the fact that some lines print fine, others completely blurred and unreadable.
Any suggestions to solve the issue?

Configure printer not to store anything in memory
Since quite a few people will be using the printer in a public location, for privacy reasons, the printer should be either cleared of any stored information after each usage or not store anything at all. Can someone advise the best solution to this dilemma? Preferrably everything should be automatic so no manual clearing or resets.

C4780 Wireless Setup
I am trying to set up my C4780 on my new WiFi network (no WPS) and I am having a terrible time. I have used the HP setup Assistant but it is crashing everytime I use it (I downloaded it for Snow Leopard because there are no updates to the HP Setup Assistant). I am able to connect to my printer via USB but I cannot set it up for WiFi access. Is there a workaround if the Setup Assistant is crashing, like a manual setup? The system was working fine until I moved to a new router in a furnished apartment and now it is not.
Also, I do not have a DVD drive on my computer. My drivers are up to date. I have completely uninstalled HP software from my computer and reinstalled and I still cannot get it to set up.

Hp Envy 5540 doesn't print (scanner works)
Hi,
I have connect two computers working with windows xp at the same printer (hp envy 5540 series).
One is working just fine, it prints and scans, while the other one does scan but doesn't print.
I have tried with and whitout the usb cable but the result is the same.
I have tried instaling the drives by the cd and from the web but the result is the same.
I don't know what more can I do.
When I send a file to the printer it shows up at the windows xp printer section but it goes away very fast.
Other curiosity is that while using the "hp print and scan doctor" at the second attempt to print a test page it works!

6520 gets stuck, stops printing mid job on double sided
I've had my HP 6520 for several years with zero issues and we use it both wired and wirelessly with 3 Mac computers running various OS systems as well as from a few phones. Today on my Mac running OS 10.6.8 the printer locked up when printing double sided, and when I went to cancel the job it also got stuck on the cancellation screen-I had to turn off the printer to get off the screen. I tried this 4 different times, with the same results every time despite restoring factory defaults, turning the device off, and resetting it. What is going on? I was able to finally print single-sided, but that's beside the point.

Error in printing
I have had this computer for 5 years and have had no problems. All of a sudden I keep getting error in printing. I have downloaded a new driver, restarted, unplugged and plugged back in. It usually prints after I unplug and plug back. But it takes forever to reset and has to clean print heads every single time. I have a business and need to print USPO labels almost daily. I do not have time for this. I looked at the forum questions back to 2012 and seems like there still has not been a complete solution. Please can anyone solve this problem quickly?

2.non responsive support center in India( no one picks the call,or they directly ask to go to a service center)
3. Pvt technicians laugh at me for buying this failure model
4.i look at that printer and cry over and again.
I am not sure who'll read this mail
Best of all the printer is 6 months old and I was able to take 2 prints till date.
I need to pray to God before I turn it on
