I ALSO have the same ERROR/Issue. One (1) of our Windows 10 laptops works fine with the Officejet Pro 8600 Plus and another one is "Unable to communicate with the printer."
To msheehy's point, the ERROR/Issue is recurring as opposed to intermittent.

Macbook Pro running OS X El Capitan 10.15.5 cannot find my wireless HP Officejet 6700
For the past month or so my Macbook Pro will not recognize/find my wireless printer even though the printer display indicates it is connected to my home network. Message on my Macbook says 'printer not connected'. I have deleted and reinstalled the printer several times, downloaded the drivers and software several times, and performed all sorts of reboots, turning off and on of computer and printer in various sequences, etc.. The printer DOES work if connected via a USB cable. I was able to print wirelessly from my Macbook and use Airprint from my iPhone and iPad for the first couple of years that I had this printer. Not sure what changed in the past month and why it doesn't work now. Please help

I cannot print from my hp laptop to my hp printer since upgrading to the free version of windows 10
I received the free Windows 10 upgrade. Since that time, I have to fight every week to get my hp laptop to recognize that my printer is in fact on line and that it can print. I use an ipad for work and I can print from that but not from an hp laptop to an hp printer. I am tired of fighting this and am about to have to go out and buy another brand of printer because I don't have time to keep fighting this. I have always been an Hp user but I am about to switch brands over this!

Setting up new Deskjet 3755. Says it is on network but cannot print.
Downloaded software with USB cable attached. Tried numerous times to reset up the printer on wireless network. At times it seems to be on the network but print error indicates it cannot detect printer when trying to wireless print. Printer has printed out Quickstart Guide, etc. so it is working. Cannot fix through Win 7 Start, Programs, HP, 3755 folder, setup and software, etc. Have recycled router and printer numerous times. 2 days invested so far. Any suggestions? Specifically, should I download the software again, w/o the USB cable attached? RodB63

HP store - unable to set up account
Whenever I try to buy ink from HP Store, it invites me to register, and set up an account. I have tried doing this, but it repeatedly tells me my username or password is wrong: I have tried re-setting the password on numerous occasions and made sure that I type in the correct details but still it says I'm wrong - well, no I'm not. I have switched off any stored password devices too.
So the only way I can complete my purchase is as an unregistered user, and I therefore have to re-enter all the info each time. I have trawled "Support" in vain to find any website technical support. I did speak to someone from HP on the phone last time it happened and they assured me they would report it to their tech team and get it sorted: well, they haven't!
A for "Choose a Board" - there isn't one that matches this at all!

Hello,
My printer has a paper jam, with every print job. I have also noticed a loud screeching/squealing noise, while printing- for the past couple of weeks, almost as if it needs to be oiled. I have currently unplugged it for the past 10 minutes as this seems to temporarily fix other problems, by "tricking" it for a temporary reset. PLEASE HELP!

HP 8610 lost the wifi connection, now cannot find network
Hello,
I have been using my Officejet 8610 without a problem for about a year now. Today, I found that it has lost my network connection, and when I tried to set it up again, my network is not even listed. This is odd, because none of the countless number of other devices throughout my home have lost my network. Everything in my home is working flawlessly, it's just the 8610. Any suggestions on how to get my 8610 to reacquire my network?

Invisible lines while taking prints of photos (HP Deskjet 1515)

I purchased an HP Deskjet printer 1515 in April last year. It had been working perfectly till now, but these days, I notice a set of deep transparent lines whenever I take a full page print of a photograph. These lines are quite subtle on a normal A4 paper, but become more pronounced on matte paper. These lines are more prominent in areas having a lighter color. I clean my printer regularly so I don't know what the problem is. I haven't made any software upgrades/changes either. Any support will be hugely appreciated.
