I am using MAC OS 10.8.4. connected to printer via ethernet connection
Have had on and off messages that the "printer is not connected" and it won't print. Sometimes I can't print one day and can the next day. All connections are OK.
I followed HPs online suggestion and deleted the printer name from System Preferences - Print and Scan. Turned things off and on as directed. Supposedly I should be able to re-add the printer but it won't show up in the list of printers. Can't reinstall from the disc because there have been updates.
Now am stuck with how to get it working again.
