I have an HP Photosmart 7525 All In One printer connected to my HP pavillion a6600f with Vista 64. After repeated tries and lots of forum help I gave up trying to connect wirelesssly for the easier and quicker route of USB. I had to do a full system recovery to even begin this. What a pain! AT first, all was working fine but now I occsionally have print failures preceeded by messages about a USB failure, bad USB port, etc. When I look in Control Panel the printer is noted as offline. I have learned how to changed this but no luck. Today, after lots of running of diagnostics I just removed and reinserted the USB cable and that fixed it. I have tried both USB ports on the rear of thye PC and both will work and then this problem occurs. Ealier, all I did one time was restart the PC. I have checked that I have "enhanced) USB ports on my PC. What is going on and how can I get some USB stability?
