The printer tells me it has a paper jamb, but that is not the problem. Been through all of the paper clearing exercises.
It started on one print with 5 seconds of gear grinding, then quite, another 5 seconds of gear grinding then it printer out okay.
Since then it seems like the paper feed is out of synch with the printing cycle. The printer picks up a piece of paper (8 1/2 x 11) feeds it half way out, stops and says "clear paper jamb then hit OK". if I just hit OK it feeds the paper out just fine, then goes back through the same cycle again and again and again.
It has been a good printer. I've never had a problem with paper jambs to this point.
Any solutions or suggestions? Please don't tell me to open the back door and remove the paper, look for little paper pieces, clean the rollers and check the from - been there done that several times.
