When I try to print or scan, I receive a message that the printer/scanner cannot communicate with the network. The network antenna icon indicates that I am connected to the network. Using the print and scan doctor utility, I verified that there is at least one connection to the wireless network. The address and logon credentials are correct.
The utility shows that there are 2 network connections - the one that I am connected to shows a signal strength of 60% and the other that I am not connected to shows a signal strength of 68%.
I am normally able to scan and print normally once out every two sessions that require that functionality.
The HP 8600 was automatically setup using the software thah came with the printer without any issues.
