I am having a problem with printing out my files. There is unwanted black ink leaking in certain places at the beginning of the print. I tried cleaning printhead, but that didn’t work. I’m wondering if it’s ink tray that catches all the extra ink is overflowing or if I need to replace the entire printhead. Any and all suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!!
This usually happens after your system gets new updates that lead the job to be stopped by the connected device. If despite not making an error, you can't get the printout of your document, it generates a very annoying moment. Or even after this error happens, uninstalling and reinstalling the device does not seem to work.

I can see some ink on them. But still, pages are completely blank, even the diagnostic report I printed is completely blank without even a little smidge of ink on the page. Do you guys think the ink is bad and I should replace them or is my printer busted? Any ideas?
I’ve tried unplugging and resetting the printer, and it is not connected to a surge protector. The printer has been sitting unused for many months, maybe the longest it sat unused was a year straight. I don't think reinstalling printer drivers on my PC will do anything as the diagnostic report, which comes from the printer itself, isn't even printing at all.
Printer has been acting funny lately on my network and I've been having trouble printing from some other computers in my house. I decied to update firmware and printer drivers to make sure everything was up to date. Now nothing is happening except the orange attention light being solid.
I deleted the printer and re installed....that didn't work.
I reset the printer box on my compture and re installled and that didn't work.
I factory reset the printer....that didn't work
I've spent hours going through articles online and nothing is working.
Is there a way to downgrade the firmware? Seeems like as soon as I updated that it stopped working!
Two HP printers - HP Officejet Pro X476dw and HP PageWide 377dw - will not print DocuSigned areas of PDFs. They will print all other pages of a PDF though.
Only these pages which have gone through a 3rd party website will not print on these two printers. Jobs are sent to the printer, it loads, and then the printer screen never accepts or starts the job and nothing prints.
Another HP Officejet Pro Series will print all DocuSigned pages of a PDF (all pages of any PDF)
Cannot print from laptop to printer wirelessly. Orange info light is on. Unplugged printer and plugged back in. Uninstalled printer on laptop and reinstalled. Info pages print when pushing buttons directly on printer, but printer queue shows "error" when trying to print from laptop.
Edit: I just found out that someone installed a store-bought ink cartridge in the printer and we're signed up for instant ink. Could this be the reason why we can't print? We haven't received any instant ink cartridges in the mail in almost a year.
I have only used my printer a couple of times but so far I am not impressed. The first time I printed a 2 page lab report and it printed it twice for a total of 4 pages. The second time, just now, i attempted to print a 7 page anatomy lecture notes document and was given 11 pages and some of the pages are only half printed on. I have no idea why this is happening but it is annoying because I have an instant ink membership for only 50 pages a month and have been received more pages printed than what I have selected when I select to print from my laptop.

I have an Officejet Pro 9020 series networked with a 64-bit Win10 Dell all in one computer. All was well until suddenly (i.e. this week) the "fit to page" option no longer works when I want to enlarge a document (not via the feeder). I've tried every trouble shooting measure, including re-installing driver software but to no avail. All suggestions welcomed please.

My printer purchased 3 years ago was malfunctioning a lot (unable to print from my computer / scan). So I contacted the HP service, they made me do manipulations for 3 hours before hanging up on me ... The next day I called back and we continued the manipulations, in the end my printer blocked (it does not recognize the hp ink and ink cartridges). think I don't have a subscription -> so the printer hangs to prevent me from using the special ink cartridges). After spending another 2 hours on the phone with HP, I was asked to wait, they will send me new cartridges and then we will have to start everything again ... In short, a printer blocked for 1 month, no news of the cartridges .. I see myself having to buy a printer from a competitor because I need it to continue working efficiently ... Thank you HP and your useless service!
I have the same error. The printer never stops initializing.
The provided fix, which should solve the problem did unfortunately not work for me.

The last couple of months I was perfectly able to use the printer, but since yesterday, it seems to reboot or reset each time I sent a print assignment to it.
The printer starts up the same like always, but when sending the print to the printer, the WPS light is flickering and then all four toner lights are flashing and you can hear the printer working, but no print comes out. The printer dialog in Windows shows printing has an error and it tries to print again (same things happen).
I've tried restarting the printer, as well as tried to print from several other devices. All those worked fine before, but now do not anymore.
Anyone got a clue what I can do? The toners are practically new, so it would be really annoying if I can trash it...
I've followed all of the steps through HP troubleshoot page. I've turned it off waited 60 seconds. I've turned it off and waited 24 hours. I've cleaned it, taken the print head out, put it back, take it out, and cleaned it again. I've bought new ink. I've tried everything apart from throwing the printer in the bin.
any suggestions before I go and buy another printer?

I now have a HP Officejet 7740 (just upgraded from an Officejet 8620). Both printers are still connected to the same network from the same MacBook Pro (new model, with Catalina). All firmware on both printers are up to date.
Issue:
The 8620 works perfectly fine - I can print anytime from my MacBook or from any Apple device (iPhones, iPads) using AirPrint with NO ISSUES AT ALL.
HOWEVER, the 7740 is not 'responsive' on the network much of the time.
Printing from laptop is unreliable on 7740: Sometimes when I can print something on the 7740, the next print job a few minutes later is sent and the printer is unable to be connected to. All my networking equipment, laptop, printer etc is in the same room and the WIFI signal quality is at maximum levels. I never know when/if I can print and sometimes, jobs hang in the middle of the print job.
AirPrint does not work for 7740. None of my Apple devices can locate the 7740 printer using AirPrint. At the same time, using the same devices and same printing subject matter, I have no issues printing via AirPrint to the 8620.

Hi, I have an HP Officejet Pro X476dw which will not print Black Ink. I have seen other posts on here about the same problem, but I have been unable to resolve the issue following those solutions.
Is there a solution for this specific model or a know cause. I have also been looking at removing the Print Cartridge Tray that holds the cartridges, but I have been unable to figure out how to remove it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have also recently put in a new genuine HP Cartridge, but still not printing black.
Where can I get a paper tray for my Officejet 7612?
