HP Photosmart 7510 all-in-one C311A printer won't copy

Remote print of a picture resulted in a blank page output. Placed a document on the glass and tried to copy that way using both with black ink and color and nothing was on the outputting paper for each attempt. The light while scanning doesn't appear to be very strong, which I think used to be much brighter.

I have the surface 2 and I'm trying to connect/print to the hp envy 4500 all in one printer. The surface says it's connected to the envy but it says limited availability. Does anyone know why?

underlining won't print

I just purchased a Deskjet 2542 and connected it to my Windows 8.1 Touchsmart laptop. Initially my prints were coming out with white lines. After running the cleaning tool, the lower portion of "g", "j", "p", and "q" will not print as well as any underlining. I have looked online and cannot find any resolution. Please help.

Hi, everyone.  I have an HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909n Series printer.  When I print documents, I get black, yellow and red printed, but not blue, or anything made with red or yellow (e.g., green, all other collors)

 

However, when I printed the Self Test Diagnostic Page, I supposedly have more than sufficient levels of all ink cartridges except for the MAGENTA one.  I many months ago was told that troubles with printing color could be due to needing a new print cartridge.  However, I am flat broke, and this latest diagnostic doesn't make sense. How can I show a low level of magenta, yet red prints?

 

I will change the magenta cartridge.  However, my not being able to print blue, when I show to have just fine Cyan levels doesn't make sense.

 

Any thoughts?

HP 6500 stopping printing after loading all new cartridges

I use my 2010 model HP6500 a-i-o for personal home use. Never any trouble since new and loaded cartridges as they dried up. Last week, I installed all new black 920XL and 3 XL color inks. Ran diagnostics and alignment - perfect. But, will not print anything. Goes through the motions and discharges a blank piece of paper. Same for Copy function or computer ordered print.

Tech support says it is my printerhead and too costly to replace. Suggested I buy a new printer and junk the older model, but I don't believe in waste and I just installed $75 worth of ink. Any help or suggestions to save my HP 6500 would be appreciated.

HP Scan.app doesn't open when idle for a long period. Have to to restart my photo smart 6520e printer. Once restarted HP Scan.app 4.4.1 works fine.
IMac using OS 10.9.4.

We have a new HP8625 printer in out office and I acnnot get it to print in color. Everyone else inthe office is printing to color. I have looked through all panels on the print boxes and can not find the problem. I have also reinstalled the driver and firmware to no avail. Please help.

psc 1315 continues paper feed and jam

Found my 1315 in the error state with a sheet of paper half out of the unit and not fully in the tray.

 

Pushed power button to feed it though. Unit kept on spontaneously feeding itself and jamming.

 

cleaned the rollers, print feed roller, restarted unit, restarted computer. Same problem.

8500 pro A910N not printing, error "devinfopage-503"

I am having problem printing to my HP 8500 pro A910n inkjet printer.  The problem first appeared after an attempt to scan a document to a network folder (that as it turned out wasn't set up properly yet).  The failure to print problem occurs on all my devices, ie laptop (win 7 64 bit),  tablet win 8.1 (windows surface) etc.  I did not have any problems prior to the failed scan to a network folder.  I've looked through previous posts/solved with this same error code with no help.  I am able to get the printer to print for a limited amount of time after doing a power reset.  The printer will print as long as I'm sending jobs to it.  If there is as much as 45 minutes to an hour between print jobs the printer hangs and will not print.  On the printer screen it says now printing but nothing happens.  Restarting print spooler in local services has no effect.

 

The printer device information is:

 

Officejet pro 8500 A910, firmware LRP1FN1231AR, software 028.000.1315.000, printer driver 09.84.00.1189

 

I have checked for product updates, says its current and no updates available

 

The printer is configured to the router which a static ip address.

 

The printer assistant software running.  The see what’s printing has had the cancel all print jobs numerous times, shows no print jobs in que.  When printer home page (EWS) is selected it shows the printer, gives a green check mark on status. Network shows connected with the correct ip address, mac address & ssid.  If I choose more details under the printer status page and choose pint self test page it fails.  I have downloaded the HP print & scan doctor.  I’ve run the program while having the printer error.  It shows all green until the last item for test page.  In the dialog box to the right it says “some issues were found and fixed with your product”  “print queue issue fixed”.  Then it gives me a test print button.  When depressed it shows a green status bar completing saying sent to printer.  The printer shows “now printing” but does not print.  I get the same error code as before “devinfopage-503”.

 

I need to note that the other day while trying to resolve this issue after reading the previous forum questions/solutions for this error on the hp website.  I somehow had a window that opened that showed the two scans to the network folder that was attempted prior to the current problem on the printer.  It showed a network folder with the two scans.  I check marked and deleted the two items.  Subsequent testing of test page worked fine.  I thought the problem was resolved until the next day when it all came back with the devinfopage-503 errors again.

 

As it stands right now.  I have to shut down the printer, pull the power plug, leave it for 15 minutes, restart and let it go through cleaning and aligning print heads.  When it completes this process I’m able to print again but like I said only as long as I continuously send print jobs.  If there is a tie lapse of 45 minutes to an hour I’m right back to the same problem.  Again if I open the printer home page (EWS) from the printer assistant it shows the printer is available with a green check mark.

 

I’ve exhausted everything I can think of to resolve the problem. I need help figuring this out.   Scan functions work normally even when still getting the devinfopage-503 printing error.

Installed new HP UPD PCL 5 driver - now all local printers are very slow

I recently upgraded the HP Universal Print Driver PCL 5 on my Windows 2008 R2 file and print server.  All 5 network HP printers now show the new UPD PCL 5 driver, and all 5 seem to be working properly from all attached network clients.

 

However, as soon as I had updated the server drivers, anyone with a locally attached HP printer (both USB and parallel) began to experience very slow response times when attempting to print jobs to their local printer.  I believe this is because the local printers also use the HP UPD PCL5 driver, and something "broke" when I updated the driver on the server.   If the local printer is set as default, trying to bring up a properties dialog box takes several seconds (before it was instant), and clicking PRINT in any application results in a noticable delay before the print dialog appears, followed by another noticeable delay (as in 10-20 seconds) before the job is processed and the application control returned ot the user.  The printer then takes an additional few seconds to process the job.  Basically local print jobs just went from 5 seconds to over 30 seconds or more for each job to begin printing.  This is unacceptable.

 

I tried deleting all the network printers from one of the client PCs, then removing the local printer as well.  I rebooted, then used the HP UPD PCL 5 install.exe to run the install on the local machine, choosing to do a USB install.  I turned the local printer back on and it was recognized and loaded the new HP UPD PCL5 driver, but the problem persists.

 

I think this is a communications issue between the client and server.  It seems this new driver, when installed at the server level, maybe trying to control devices at the local level as well.  The long delay times may be because the computer is trying to communicate with the server and get it's print driver information from there rather than locally.  I just find it very odd that network printing is uneffected, it's only the local directly connected printers that have this issue post-update.

HP Photosmart D110 loses connection to iMac; error mssg Idle; default

I've had an HP Photosmart D110 for a few years. Usually the iMac prints well on it. Trouble is, printer goes AWOL without warning. Error mssg either that Mac can't find the printer, or printer is offline or Idle. This happens all too frequently, with no apparent stimulus. Can anybody help me? Thanks


virtual paper and carriage jams with Photosmart 7510

My 7510  displays error message ox6101bed, then claims a paper jam (not), then claims the printhead is missing/not detected/improperly installed(also..not), and then claims the printhead carrige cannot move....also not true.  I've tried the HP online procedures, but the printer will not allow certain steps due to these messages, and no amount of on/off or cord disconnects have worked.  I read about solutions regarding a semi-reset procedure in the forum replies....Is this something that might work for my issues?  If so,is this available to me?  Printer is only 2 yrs. old and does not see heavy usage.  Any ideas?  Thanks for your time.

The printer stopped responding. I reinstalled the printer CD and still can not have the printer respond to the computer command for printing photos or documents.

I have a 4630 and I purchsed new black cartridges (genuine HP cartridges, 61XL).

 

I get an error in the status window telling me the new cartridge is incompatible. What does that mean, and what can I do?

5 year old lightly used HP 9800 printer stopped working suddenly

I changed black cartridge to a new one

No matter what I do,  double red lite blinks.

Unplugged, re booted, cleaned contacts, reset back door, disconnected

computer so I could print a test page.   Is it dead??

I have an Officejet 6500A Plus. The screen message says: "There is a problem with the printer. Refer to Printer Documenation 0x610000016

 

I am unable to find anything on the HP site and I cannot get this message to go away. I've shut down the printer and still nothing.  Does anyone know how to fix this?
