I have an HP Photosmart C7280 printer installed on my network. It's connected by an ethernet cable to my router. My desktop is connected to the printer via the router and it prints no problem. So does my Fedora Core OS. But when i tried to hook up my laptop in the same manner, it said connected and it was recognized; BUT when i try to print, it says "printing" in my queue, but NOTHING happens at the printer. And a few minutes later, the queue reads "error-printing." I've run the diagnostics tool, but it always does the same thing "print queue error resolved" and then when i print a test page, nothing happens. Abosultely nothing. The HP Install wizard doesn't even recognize any printers on my network, and no matter how many times i try, the HP driver software download ALWAYS fails about halfway through with the excuse "network error." I can't print off my laptop (which i'm on all the time now it's summer) and i'm at my wit's end!
