Hi,
First off let me say my Officejet 4215xi is attached to a Windows XP PC & everything works perfectly from there.
Problems arise printing from a Networked Windows 7 machine when trying to print two sided & two pages per sheet.
From the Win 7 PC I am able to, by selecting "Manual Duplex" under Print& "2 pages per sheet" under Finishing, create a 2 per page duplex printout except that the pages are out of order. For instance a 4 page document will all fit on one piece of paper but: on the first side pages 1 & 3 print while pages 2 & 4 print on the second side.
The are many options under Finishing on the Win XP PC where the printer is attached & the software suite resides, however on the Win 7 PC (with only drivers) the options under Finishing are greatly reduced.
"Printing Shortcuts" looked promising until I found that the "Print On Both Sides" option could not be turned on.
Changing Layout Options / Page Order from "Front to Back" to "Back to Front" did not help either.
Any Ideas, any help greatly appreciated,
thank you
p.s. If I skip the duplex & just print 2 pages per sheet they do print in order but obviously only on one side of the paper. Seems like Manual Duplex may be the culprit.
