After buying and sucessfully installing my Deskjet 2544, when going to print erros such as 'printer is unavailable' etc. appear even though it is online.
After various tests I have installed and reinstalled the software in about 10 different ways, with the latest software for my system from the HP website. When using the Print and Scan doctor the test page will not print, but then on a second attempt with an INTERNAL TEST PAGE it will print sucessfully. Therefore it seems that my computer can not acesss the printer, it will only print if instructed internally.
At present the printer is set up wirelessly on a network via the router, however I have also tried a USB connection set up several times. The problem seems to be with the Computer (DEll INSPIRON 531) acessing the printer as our iPad will print no problems!
PLEASE HELP WE'VE TRIED EVERYTHING, all of the online guides and potential solutions, nothing is working!
