I have had an 8500A printer for a couple of years with no major problems and have been pretty happy with its performamnce. Now it's not working at all. I got an error code 0x61011bef. I followed all the various instructions on the HP website and this forum (turned off, unplugged, checked network, etc) but it just sits with the little red cross indicating that it's printing but taking no action at all. I notice that the other post citing this error hasn't had a solution so am wondering if if it's a fatal error. Anyone have any thoughts?
