Since getting the all-in-one HP Photosmart 7525 and setting it up on XP Pro PC, I heve sporadically encountered a problem of getting garbled printout. Sometimes the whole document downloaded from a financial web site is garbled but most often it will print 1 or 2 pages fine then garble the remainder. I regularly update programs and drivers and this is the first (of half a dozen or more) HP all-in-one printers I have encountered this problem with. The columns and lines are in proper location but random characters, letters and numbers replace the actual text. Often I can single page print the garbled pages but occasionally only one of them may print properly. It's such a frustration but I have used almost exclusively HP for home and small business.
Has anyone but me ever experienced this or is it my magnetic charm that confuses this model?? It's terribly frustrating when trying to print a bank statement and have this problem and have to repeatedly re-log on to print a single good page. HELP! I'm getting too old for this much fun.
