Model: HP Officejet 6500 E710n-z
My printer once printed over my home network; however, now when I attempt to print over the network, I receive the error message: "Unable to Communicate with Printer."
Troubleshooting methods attempted, but failed:
1. Printed the network configuration page and verified that the IP Address had not changed
2. Uninstalled and re-installed the printer on my laptop (received a message of a successful install)
3. Verified that both my laptop and printer are connected to the same SSID (network name)
4. Successfully printed from a non-windows device and smartphone (followed by an attempt to print from the laptop, which failed)
5. Verified that there were no firmware updates for the model
Does anyone have any other suggestions that may have worked for his/her system? In the meantime, if I am printing via the antiquated method of attaching my laptop to the printer via the USB cable. PLEASE HELP!!
