I am using an HP C410a connected to a Mac with OS 10.9. My printer has worked reasonably well for the past 2.5 years, but as of yesterday it stopped printing legible material.
1. Copy is barely visable
2. Prints in blue
3. Printhead alignment indicates failure
I have gone through a variety of steps:
1. Print Status report
2. Cleaned printhead.
3. Remove print head and cleaned various surfaces.
4. Changed ink cartridges to fresh HP cartridges.
5. Reset default settings
I'm not sure what else to do. I have already spent hours on this. Unfortunately, this is the usual scenario when anything doe not work right with this HP printer. Even removing a damged piece of paper causes an hours worth of work.
Ideas would be appreciated.
