HP office pro 8600 printer

I am having streaks on my copies I make from the FEED copier on my HP office pro 8600. I have done all of the printer head cleaning. I have done the trouble shooting subjected.

NOTE: the streaks do not show up when I copy from the glass----only when I top feed the paper to be copied.

It appears something in the feed cover needs to be cleaned-----but I can't find a way to get inside of the top lid.

Now the top feeder is only printing out black with the streaks.

Is there anything I can do? Or do I just need to take it in for service?
