Just purchased a printer for a remote office - HP Laserjet MFP M127. Installed it locally on the Windows 2012 r2 server that the user will be suing for testing, everything worked properly locally no issues. Moved the printer to the remote office and installed it on main user PC via usb. Works properly no issues.
The user Remote desktop into the remote server( which had the printer installed originally for testing) and the user sees his printer redirected but when he tries to print, the print is shown on the server printer queue and then prints but the user does not receive the print at his end. ( note: the remote desktop option are activated for local printing and he sees his local printer as the default printer when remoted into the server).
When we check the printer the printer shows that it is not having any issues. No events or other indication of any issues. We see the print job created and we see the status printing and then it disapears.
I presume it is a driver issue, tried downloading the drivers from the HP web site but since the original driver worked when the printer was local and that we have not uninstalled that printer it should have valid drivers.
How can I get this printer to print via remote desktop properly.
Thanks
