I'm unable to print on blue paper. The printer will pick up the paper just fine but if the paper is blue, whether paper or card stock, it will spit it out. It will continue to do this until it gets a white page.
This will sometimes happen with other colors of paper as well. However with other colors it will usually only skip printing on the first peice and then it will work on the second. It will never print on blue paper. Is there a fix for this?
I realize this is a fairly old printer and I am planning on getting a new printer. I have been thinking of getting the HP all in one 8600. My concern is that because it's the same brand that it will have the same problem. I had assummed that light it uses to recognize paper just doesn't see blue or something.
Any suggestions/solutions would be very much appreciated.
