Our customer has problem with HP PhotoSmart 2575 all-in-one. When he prints PDF document on blank A4/Legal paper, everything is positioned ok. But when he prints the same document on preprinted header paper (which has some fancy graphics on top), the printer seems to be looking for white color on the paper first and when it founds it, starts printing from that place. The result is the whole document is placed several centimeters below of where it should be.
Is there really such a function in the printer that detects the paper? (The preprinted header paper is also more thick and glossy than usual A4/Legal white paper). Can it be disabled in the printer or its driver? We need to be able to print over the preprinted header graphics, because this is part of "customer cards".
