This will be the second issue I've had to post regarding this photo"smart" printer. Thus far I am extremely disappointed with this new HP printer and I do not see myself sticking with it. So much for giving a "reputable" brand a chance. Regardless....
I have been printing index cards sporadically this evening, maybe 20 in all. I am printing only in black and I bought the cartridge TODAY. I have been using a light watermark in the background of all the cards and it has worked well so far. Suddenly on the last few cards, the text is still dark and rich but the watermark is a transparent reddish color with small blue streaks faded into it. This is opposed to the greyish transparent black it has been up to this point. Nothing had changed, I have tried changing the watermark picture.
Again, the ink was replaced today and the text itself on the cards is still dark and black like it's supposed to be. Any thoughts?
