got the printer mentioned in the topic in our office here. The cartridges went empty and the printer told us to change them. So I went ahead and bought some 3rd party ink and refilled them manually.
Yes, I know that you're supposed to buy new original cartridges. The funny thing is though, the old refilled cartridges are printing just fine with the 3rd party ink.
The cyan cartridge was leaking while I refilled it. I chose to replace that one with a brand new original HP cyan cartridge.
so, we've got 1 brand new cyan cartridge + all the other old ones refilled with 3rd party ink.
Now the problem:
The only colour causing issues is indeed the new original cartridge - the blue-tones are partially completely missing for whatever reason. Every other colour is just fine.
I tried cleaning the print-head 6 times total. Also tried readjusting the print-head 2 times. Tried all the troubleshooting I could find regarding this issue to no avail.
Removed the cartridges and carefully cleaned the contacts.
Unfortunately, the warranty is also expired and HP seems to not care about customers without valid warranty. Quite sad.
Any help would be highly appreciated and sorry for my mediocre English
