I think the USB port on my photosmart D4350 printer has gone bad. It will start printing the page fine and then eject the page - sometimes several pages of a single line of garbabge characters other times it errors out. To me it seems like it it sends the first "block" of data but then gets screwed up after that. A full page of graphics will print about 1/4", the Windows XP test print will print about an inch, and the Printer Property "callibration" page (mostly text) will print the entire page.
If I use the HP Soluton Center to check the ink level, it shows the printer is connected (green check mark), but when I check the ink it say error with two communications with the printer.
I have reloaded the driver, attached it to different computers, used different USB cables including known good cables. I supspect the USB port on the printer is bad. Is there any way to test or fix this problem?
Thanks in advance!!!
