C6150 all in one printer

Does anybody think that recycled ink cartridges may be a problem?  I have been having problems for months with the computer saying cartridges were expired (when they were not) and with brand new cartridges that work but the printer won't acknowledge they have been added and it keeps saying "replace".

Then, the light blue stopped printing altogether.  Final blow was adding a magenta cartridge that was reading low, (it was brand new) and when I went to print, I got a blank sheet.  I ran the clean printhead program, and proceded to empty the magenta INTO the printer.  I was dripping ink across some plate inside and down onto the paper.  And now, not only will no colors (except yellow) print on printer test pages or real Word doc's, emails, etc., but the cartidge alingment program says "Failure".

It seems like a mechanical issue, but it was working (without light blue) until the new magenta cartridge poured out.  The only thing I did was add the magenta and black, cyan and light blue.  Yellow and Pink showing plenty of ink, and not errors or warnings are showing.  Now nothing, not on grayscale, color, factory defaults, or after self-cleaning.

The 6150 was not cheap, and I hate to toss it in the trash, and I just wasted $100 on ink cartridges.

Anybody else have this problem?  Got any suggestions?

Thanks,

Matt
