I have Mac OSX 10.8.4, and I installed the latest printer software from the HP website.
I have tried aligning printheads, cleaning printheads, and checking ink levels - all are fine.
When I try to print a plan black and white document from my computer, the printer acts like it is printing (with all the sounds, motions, and screens one would expect) but spits out a blank page. It never reports a problem to the printer utility on my computer.
I have also tried copying documents directly from the printer with the same results. I did this before I had ever set it up with the computer, so I know it's not a software issue - at least on my computer's end.
My roommate was able to make perfect color copies a week or so before I started trying to make copies, and I have had nothing work. I printed a test page, which (as far as I know) printed out just fine.
Has anyone had any experience with this problem who would know how I could fix it? I need the printer for school so it's sort of a time sensitive issue. Thanks much.
