I work in an office where we need different custom paper formats (smaller than A4) in different paper trays of the same printer. I have set up custom formats for each tray on our newly installed Laserjet 3015x, and it is shown exactly as entered on the printer display. However, always when a printing order comes through, an alert appears on the printer display asking me if I want to choose a different tray. Once OK is pressed, I can force it to use the tray selected in the first place, and it prints the document just fine.
I have played around setting formats on the computer to different sizes, but even if it is much smaller than the one set on the printer, the alert still pops up. By the way, it does not pop up for tray 1 with the manual document feed. There it prints any format without alert.
I would appreciate any hints on how to disable this, I have not found any setting to do so...
